The West Gate Bridge is an iconic piece of infrastructure in Melbourne, Victoria. This steel, box girder, cable-stayed bridge spans the Yarra River just north of its mouth into Port Phillip Bay and serves as a vital connection between the western suburbs and the central business district. With its high span and length of 2.58 km, it provides a stunning and allows large ships to access the Yarra River, which is crucial for the region’s commercial activity.
As traffic volumes have increased in recent years, the West Gate Bridge has undergone significant upgrades as part of the West Gate Tunnel works. This has involved widening the West Gate Freeway from 8 to 12 lanes, between Williamstown Road and the M80, improving overall capacity, and enabling new ramp connections to and from Hyde Street. The scaffolding that has been visible when driving under the Westgate at Hyde Street, was erected for the required strengthening works.

In the unlikely scenario of visibly damaged or opened packaging upon delivery, kindly ensure that the carrier acknowledges this before signing for your order. If you receive a faulty or damaged item, please contact us, and we will promptly arrange a replacement for you.
