The Newport Railway Workshops in Victoria, Australia, have a long and illustrious history dating back to the late 19th century. The workshops were responsible for the manufacture of carriages and locomotives and were one of Victoria’s largest engineering establishments at their peak, employing up to 5,000 people. The workshops played a significant role in the development of Victoria’s railway industry and economy and were used for military production during World War II.
Today, the workshops are a heritage-listed site and are the home of Steamrail Victoria, a volunteer-run organisation dedicated to the restoration of historic railway vehicles. The workshop’s site is also heavily used by local film production companies, with a range of productions being shot there, from small-scale student films to large Hollywood blockbusters.

Shipping
All orders placed in the CJA Shop have a flat shipping rate of $15 to anywhere in Australia.
If you would like to place an order to ship outside of Australia, please contact us at cj@carajonesart.com to inquire about international shipping rates prior to placing an order.
Tracking and Delivery
We’ll ensure you’re in the loop with regular updates on the status of your order once you make a purchase. Upon completion of the print, we’ll get in touch with you to arrange a delivery time that works for you. We’re unable to ship to PO boxes, so please provide a fixed address during checkout.
Damaged Items
Every item undergoes rigorous inspection prior to shipping, ensuring that you receive professionally packaged products that are free from any transit-related damage. In the unlikely scenario of visibly damaged or opened packaging upon delivery, kindly ensure that the carrier acknowledges this before signing for your order. If you receive a faulty or damaged item, please contact us, and we will promptly arrange a replacement for you.
